Rare layers of needles of aragonite on a dark matrix from the 1040 and 1080 stopes, between the 430 foot and 500 foot levels in the Sterling Hill mine, Ogdensburg, Sussex County, NJ. The aragonite fluoresces creamy white SW. It weighs 2 lb. 10.6 oz. and is 6.0 x 4.0 x 2.5 inches.
