Really caleidoscopic rock from Australia (Puttapa zinc mine)

Stefano Buzzoni

Very nice rock with brilliant and saturated red and green colors over a light blue matrix. Black dendritic patterns of about 1 cm are also present.

Phosphorescence is not so spectacular as Sw fluorescence.

Size: 8.2 x 6.3 x 6.3 cm

Weight: 512 g

Roccia multicolore dai brillanti colori Rosso e Verde (rispettivamente Calcite e Willemite). La matrice è azzussa (smithsonite). Su un lato sono presenti formazioni dendritiche nere che si sovrappongono ad entrambe le mineralizzazioni a calcite e willemite. C'e una debole fosforescenza (willemite verde e Smithsonite azzurro).

Sw: 27W top and 9W front lamps

Sw: 27W top and 9W front lamps

Sw Macro: Dendritic patterns over calcite and willemite; "Eye" with smithsonite and calcite

Daylight macro: black dendritic patterns over the white matrix
