Zunyite - Big Bertha Mine, Arizona

Tiny (1mm) colorless to brown zunyite crystals in quartz matrix, fluorescing deep red in SW. Yellow-fluorescing microcrystals of what is likely pyrophyllite appear as grains around and on the zunyite. A macro closeup is included with FOV 20mm.

Lit by a 240w SW transilluminator. Specimen is 64 x 38 x 16mm.
