Wickenburgite, Fluorite, Willemite, etc - Potter-Cramer Mine, Arizona

Dennis Michael

A rich SW assemblage from Potter-Cramer. Wickenburgite fluoresces shades of pink and red, fluorite in violet blue, willemite in pale green, cerussite in yellow, and an unknown mineral in light blue. Some of the red is possibly calcite. In LW the fluorite and cerussite react the same color, the lighter blue mineral goes to a pale bluish-white, and the wickenburgite and willemite do not react. Pictured on both sides in SW, LW and white light.

SW lit by 15w Glw Stck. LW lit by a 365nm flashlight. Specimen is 58 x 46 x 40mm.
