Fluorite and Calcite, Weishan Mine, Jining, Shandong, China

FireViper

Fluorite and calcite combinations from China are pretty common. This one however, just seems different. Perhaps it's that the calcite isn't in a traditional crystal form or that the fluorite changes to a pastel purple under shortwave. Shown in midwave, shortwave, and longwave, and is about three or four inches tall.
