Alabama isn't known for it fluorescent rocks. However, it is home to America's space and rocket program and Huntsville boasts over 240 caves within the city limits , with a staggering 2000 additional caves in the surrounding area. Travertine, a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs, is an often host rock for caves.
